this is my first blog post! i wanna keep this website a bit separate from my other online personas, so i’m still working on what name i want to be called here. i think i may stick with “otya” (pronounced “ocha”, meaning tea) because of the website name but also because it’s a little cute, and i want to be a little cute, too!
i am currently 25yrs old and i have about a billion interests, but i haven’t had the time to really explore them, i.e. i’ve been addicted to doomscrolling for about six years.
i finally got rid of all my social medias—except for reddit, of course—so that i can begin to dive into the hobbies that i always told myself that i wanted to do. right now i’m getting into coding, just a little, and have been working on this site for a couple of weeks i’m really excited to launch it completely!
the website is mainly a place for me to practice building but also to put down my many, many thoughts. i feel like i have a lot of things to say and no one i know in my real life is particularly interested in listening to all of it, so the idea that i could put it somewhere on a random corner of the internet and maybe some stranger would be interested in it… well, that sounds awesome!
some other hobbies i have are art (but i’m not very good at it), video games, writing, baking, 3d printing, marxist-leninism and im planning on starting piano lessons soon! or, i hope to be. anyway, hopefully this will be the first of many blog posts.
i can dream, right?
